Welcome to SpeedFour.org, a site dedicated to Triumph's Speed Four
motorcycle manufactured from 2002-2005. I own one of these unique
looking machines, and decided to put up a page for any Speed Four
enthusiasts across the world. I hope this website eventually becomes a place where you can find all the information you need on the Speed Four.
Over time I'll add more content (a
photo gallery is in the plans, as well as tutorials on how to do the
simple maintenance items on the S4), but for now bear with me as this
is my first attempt at putting up anything more than a simple web
page.
I'm planning to do some software upgrades to the site soon,
so expect some downtime in the very near future.
This site was launched on June 27th, 2005. |

Triumph roars back into US |

From the Times Online:
Triumph roars back into US after not-so-easy ride
The iconic British bike maker has overcome its troubles and is revving up with hot new models.
By Dominic Rushe in New York
IT has been compared to an angry ant, a sawn-off shotgun and a wild boar, its twin headlights shining like angry piggy eyes. Whichever way you look at it, the new Triumph Speed Triple is a distinctive motorbike.
It's a distinction that is paying off. Fresh out of the factory at Hinckley, Leicestershire, the latest incarnation of the Triumph spirit is getting great reviews in the American press and has already become Triumph's fastest-selling bike.
The Speed Triple is igniting new interest in the brand and in biking. The company promises there is more to come. This September Triumph will unveil two new bikes at its American dealers' conference in Phoenix, Arizona - a rare debut outside Europe and one that underscores the company's ambition.
In its glory days Triumph went head to head with Harley-Davidson in America. Those times are long gone, but the marque is making an impressive comeback, especially for a brand that until recently looked like a lesson in the decline of British manufacturing. |

The technical specifications from my owner's manual for my 2004 Triumph Speed Four have been completely entered in. I believe the information is identical across all model years, but if I am incorrect please let me know.
For data such as tightening torque, consult your owner's manual directly for the most accurate information. I do not take responsibility for any errors or inaccuracies on this web page (but please inform me if I have erroneous information on here). |
